From 5 to 7 June 2026, Wrocław’s Market Square will once again be transformed into a vibrant culinary landscape for the fourth edition of Delicje – Culinary Festival. The festival has established itself as one of Poland’s most distinctive food events, bringing together local producers, international cuisines, chefs and visitors in a shared celebration of gastronomy.
Under the theme “Culinary Bridges – Wrocław open to the world”, this year’s edition invites the public on a journey of global discovery without leaving the city centre. Over three days, the historic square will become a living map of flavours, where culinary traditions from around the world meet Wrocław’s own rich food culture.
Alongside its international offer, Delicje continues to highlight local identity and regional excellence. Producers from Wrocław and Lower Silesia will showcase seasonal ingredients and traditional specialities, reinforcing the festival’s commitment to place-based gastronomy and short supply chains.
A key feature of the programme is the Delicje 2026 Competition, which brings together exhibitors competing for recognition of their culinary creativity, product quality and innovative approach. From reinterpretations of traditional recipes to experimental proposals, the competition reflects emerging trends in contemporary gastronomy while celebrating craftsmanship and authenticity.
This year’s edition also strengthens its international outlook through cooperation with Wrocław Airport, symbolically linking the city’s role as a gateway to global cultures with the festival’s ambition to bring world cuisines into its urban heart.
The atmosphere will be further enriched by a programme of music and live performances, contributing to the festival’s energetic and inclusive urban character. Among the highlights is the participation of Voice Academy, adding a cultural dimension to the culinary experience.
An additional ambassador of the 2026 edition is Piwnica Świdnicka, a historic venue in Wrocław with deep culinary heritage, reflecting the festival’s long-standing connection between tradition, memory and contemporary food culture.
More than a gastronomic event, Delicje 2026 positions itself as a space of encounter and exchange, where food becomes a universal language connecting people, places and ideas. As Wrocław opens its Market Square to the world, the festival continues to strengthen the city’s role within The Food Capitals network as a dynamic and outward-looking food destination.
