Délice member cities gathered in Guangzhou for the second meeting of the year that took place from May 8 to 10 2018.
As the origin place for the world-renowned Cantonese cuisine, Guangzhou attracts gastronomes from all around the globe all year round. As such, it was decided to focus the meeting on a very actuel challenge: marketing a city diversity while preserving its local cuisine and heritage.
During the 3-day program, delegates were invited to learn and share experiences on how to find a balance between the diffusion of an international gastronomy and the defense of local traditions, and how can Chefs face this challenge while keeping a qualitative result.
In addition, the cities had the chance to attend the Bocuse d’Or Asia Selection 2018 and Awards ceremony.
