In May 2025, The Food Capitals network came together in Lyon, one of the world’s leading gastronomy capitals, for our Annual General Meeting (AGM). City leaders, SchoolFood4Change project participants, food innovators, and chefs engaged in dynamic discussions on food justice, sustainable urban food systems, and sustainable gastronomy and tourism. 

The AGM also featured site visits, chef collaborations, and interactive sessions that showcased Lyon’s rich culinary landscape and innovative approaches to food policy and gastronomy.
