The third edition of the Wrocław Culinary Grand Prix showcased the city's rich multicultural food heritage and contemporary culinary talent, with a familiar face from The Food Capitals' Chefs Beyond Borders cohort among this year's finalists!
On 21 October 2026, the City of Wrocław, Poland, a proud member of The Food Capitals by Délice Network, celebrated the winners of the third edition of the Wrocław Culinary Grand Prix during an awards ceremony held at Wrocław City Hall.
This year's competition, themed "Wrocław Twist – a melting pot of flavours, the rich cuisine of multicultural Wrocław and Lower Silesia," invited participating chefs to create signature main courses inspired by the region's diverse culinary heritage.
Shaped by Polish, Czech, German, Jewish and Eastern Borderland influences, Wrocław's culinary identity reflects centuries of cultural exchange. Today, the city's chefs continue to reinterpret these traditions, combining local ingredients and regional flavours with contemporary techniques and international influences.
Competing across three categories — Fine Dining, Comfort Food and Bistro — the chefs demonstrated the creativity, diversity and talent driving Wrocław's dynamic gastronomic scene.
Congratulations to this year's winners and runners-up!
The main prize in the Fine Dining category is a ten-day internship at the Michelin-starred Spanish restaurant Quatre Molins. Other prizes included multifunctional kitchen machines and cash prizes.

Earlier this year, Wojciech represented Wrocław in the inaugural Chefs Beyond Borders cohort during The Food Capitals Summit 2026 in Castelldefels, Spain.
Bringing together chefs from member cities around the world, the initiative fostered international culinary exchange, collaboration and friendship through shared cooking experiences, masterclasses and gastronomic events.
Wojciech's recognition at the Wrocław Culinary Grand Prix is another wonderful opportunity to celebrate the talented chefs who contribute to the international connections and culinary creativity at the heart of our network.
Wrocław's vibrant and evolving culinary scene will take centre stage once again when the city hosts The Food Capitals Summit from 19 to 22 May 2027.
This special edition will mark the 20th anniversary of The Food Capitals by Délice Network, bringing together city representatives, gastronomy professionals and international partners to exchange experiences, strengthen cooperation and explore the role of food and gastronomy in shaping the future of our cities.
The Summit will also see the return of Chefs Beyond Borders, connecting international chefs with Wrocław's local culinary community.
