The Arròs de Castelldefels (Castelldefels’ rice) is a signature sea and mountain rice dish created by local chefs and historians to reflect the city’s essence. Made with fresh, local ingredients, it showcases Castelldefels’ identity –between sea and mountains- and highlights its commitment to quality, sustainability, and culinary heritage. 

Mostra de Cuina

Food Festival

The Mostra de Cuina is a long-standing culinary tradition in Castelldefels with over 30 editions to its name. Each year, around forty local restaurants take part, offering the public a taste of their best dishes in a vibrant and open-air setting.
This event takes place over a full day and is complemented by a program of activities aimed at entertaining attendees (from magic shows to live music performances). The Mostra is co-organized by the Castelldefels City Council and the Gremi d’Hostaleria de Castelldefels i el Baix Llobregat.

MOSTRA DE VINS

Annual Wine Show

This event, the Mostra de Vins (annual wine show) is the main wine event of the city. It takes place once a year over the course of three days. During this time, the best wineries of the region showcase and sell their finest wines. They also offer tastings inviting the local community to discover and appreciate the unique qualities of local wines.
