This type of transportation allows you to enjoy the scenery while promoting sustainable mobility. To help plan your trip, go to your favorite app or click here.
The easiest and fastest way is by suburban train (Rodalies) with the lines R2 or R2 Sud (direction: Sant Vicenç de Calders/Vilanova i la Geltrú) from Barcelona Sants station to Castelldefels station. In May, temperatures in Castelldefels hover around 20 degrees Celsius during the day, with a 20% risk of rainy weather. We recommend business casual attire for most days so you can network while still feeling relaxed. But be sure to pack an umbrella, raincoat, and good walking shoes for our visits - and don’t forget your dancing shoes!
If you’ll be joining us for our gala dinner on Wednesday 20 May, we suggest cocktail attire or creative formal attire.
For participants who are not part of the Schengen area, you may need a visa. Please check ahead of time whether you’ll require a visa, and if you do, we recommend starting the process as soon as possible. The Food Capitals may issue invitation letters upon request.
